The pay-off reel receives the steel coil on the steel coil car, and sends its head into the production line.  It is expanded and shrunk by the core shaft, reducer, motor, mandrel, etc.. Drum is controlled by the hydraulic cylinder expansion, drive shaft by the motor to complete.


The structure is composed of welding rack, cantilever drum, variable speed drive, hydraulic drive system, motor reducer.

Function: The tension reel is overhang type. It works together with the EPC device at the specified tension to coil the steel strip.
Structure: It is composed of overhang drum, driving system, traversing oil cylinders and sliding base, etc.
Drum: It is 4-pyramid expanding type and composed of 4 alloy forged steel arc segments and wedge shafts. The drum is expanded and shrunk by the expanding cylinder. The drum shrinks when loading
coils and the drum expands when normal pay-off and running.

Transmission system: the transmission is composed of an AC speed regulating motor, a coupling, a brake and a gear box. The gear box is a fully enclosed welded steel structure.
Transverse oil cylinder: It is controlled by the servo valves of the EPC device to realize the side-orderly coiling.
